A lovely combination! I was immediately struck by the diagonal line of cat, bird, sun, but I enjoy the chaos of he branches and leaves and sky.

Thank you Jack. Experiment with blend modes on more than one layer + learning a few tricks like how to change a color or texture at its origin instead of "later"

In the first photo, the cat is envious of the peacock and leaves having wonderful colors... we identify and sympathize.
But, beware all, a cat is lurking in the second photo... I searched and found the eye, nose, and forehead... did you?

Clue... 2/3 2/3 Sneaky of you Linda! Or was the cat hiding from you too? Being a cat person, I know they love lurking.

I really like the colours used. The "line" mentioned by cbtsam is very nice. The presentation of a cat eyeing a bird - even a large bird - is very natural.
