Since I had the stuff out from yesterday, I thought I'd do another macro. This one I wanted to look a bit abstract. I took a photo of a metal clasp on a hard camera case then used the Plastic Wrap filter in PS. Lastly, I altered the contrast to make the background all black. Had to do some cloning as well.

ebrunner you prove simple subjects with simple equipment yield very interesting views of common items... a form of surreal-art when viewed and a mystery when we do not know what subject being photographed.
The image is just ripe for the use of LUT to add colors to a "50 shades of gray" image. Once set up and on a roll, the possibilities are open and endless... Let's see an eye close up... perhaps a green eye...
LUT are fun color choices it is within Weasis a free medical program... "software developed at the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG) for medical imaging is Weasis which is the clinical viewer" It is made for viewing the 3D images of Computed tomography (CT) scans. Does it do diagnosis analysis by AI?
