The Galah is one of Australia's most common native cockatoos. They make great pets and can live up to 80 years of age in captivity...about 25 years in the wild.
They are very affectionate birds and can also talk and mimic sounds.
In the outback they can form groups of 10 - 1000 individuals...
Galahs range in size from 34 – 38 cm.
