I received an email that appeared to be from Amazon. It wanted me to click on the invoice to verify my order.
I knew it was a scam because Amazon does not do this. And the total of my order was $50.0$. Right away I picked up on the $ instead of a number.

Please read your emails carefully.

Definitely!

I like the ones I get for orders that I did not place.
Mostly renewals for anti-virus programs.

I have a folder just for scam messages like that, including a full-on blackmail attempt, claiming to send copies to my friends and relatives of the X-rated pictures and videos that the scammer claimed were on my machine (but aren't) as well as compromising pictures of myself taken with the camera on my video display (that doesn't exist).

Definitely, and if you click on their address, though it might say Apple, it will show who the actual sender is.

That's great. Social Security recommends that you NOT laminate your SS card.

I get several of those a week; automatically sent to my trash folder.
