Shadyn wanted a Valentine photograph to send to her friend in Osaka Japan. Of course I obliged. The outfit is pure Shadyn. I had kept a 9 foot red backdrop roll that an artist friend (Debbie Doll) had free hand drawn a giant heart on with a marker and then left me to cut out the huge heart with an Exacto knife. Silly her, she thought I wanted a big red heart, when in fact I wasted a huge backdrop to shoot against.

Behind the opening I placed a sheet of drafting velum used by architects to draw plans on. Then I added a flash head to the back of the drafting velum and placed a yellow gel over the flash head. Below and in front there was the rest of the backdrop roll so I built a low platform to allow people to sit or pose as they liked. Objects could be added to add interest and accents as each person needs.

Of course I'm a pack-rat type so I still have the red 9foot backdrop and this year it comes out from storage to make new Valentines. I'm going to be setting up this in the garden apartment studio, but not fior about a week as that is occupied by Ms. Brittany II who is visiting the studio doing shoots and living in the apartment this week and throg the next weekend before going off East through the south to do her naughty modeling (New Orland?) on her way up to Van Cover Canada. (see attached).

By the way, she was on her way to the Palace tonight to do dance/stripping and saw that I had a new set going up in the kitchen studio, she was super interested in the set. I explained that I had put the stage in and that the set could be converted to do pole dancing as well. "You have a pole dancing stage!" was what she said. "Of course I do silly," was my reply, "The girls love doing strip dance but they need to learn by doing and practice, but it is the final design for the Peep Show set. The 4X8 floor mirror mounted to the wall is fun and I have movable full length mirrors for the sides, but the best part is when the whole set is activated, tat is, outside the façade part is completely dark, this turns the interior into a lighted space and so the plate glass 'window' turns into a one way mirror. So the model inside the Peep see herself in a large mirror while anyone on the other side can see in just like a widow!" Voyeurs!

I think she is intrigued, we will see. Right now there is a large tree set up in the center 'fun with B&D' but we will see. Oh, attached from her Model Mayhem portfolio images.

VADA was over for lunch today, we talked plans for the coming Valentine adventures and she saw the earl set up for The Peep Show. Lots to do in the coming weeks. It's going to be such fun!

I agree, good work by them photographers, you did get that the images of Brittany II are not mine, right? She is becoming a friend, this is her second trip staying at the apartment, I guess she will be using the apartment as a home base from now on. She is doing a lot of work in Mexico City and Mexico. She is making and producing a video film. Does strip dancing to make extra money. She really is good at what she does.

I know it's weird, I try to help traveling models as much as possible. Hotels are expensive and when they can make food and such it helps them with their job by reducing expenses. By expense is some electric and water bills. One of the BIG draws for people in Texas is no personal income tax (thank you permanent fund and MD Anderson Hospital), then there is the powerful Home Stead laws (you can not be turned out of your home if your smart and set that up, and as I'm retired, own the building, I am deferring all property tax (and guess what, as an elder with that Home Stead Act) when I die, the owed taxes will be forgiven. That my fiends is the real meaning of States Rights and the powerful State of Texas to take care of it's citizens and especially it's elderly. But you really must have the type of history that a state like Texas has, to have the best cancer hospital that generates so much revenue that it can run the state of Texas, you got to have the history of visionaries and caring leaders. The US could use more of those (opposite, getting close to ending up in the Attic, but not with necked girly photos in the thread! LOL!!!).

Did I mention tat Ms. Starena aka Madam Lalinn is probably come to shoot some in the Valentine set but especially the Peep Show? No! Well it's getting close!!!
