Repairing The MODE Dial

I have a 5D Mark IV with a loose rubber ring on the MODE Dial. I tried all kinds of glue from Crazy Glue and Duco Cement and others with little success. I contacted a Hogger Friend (RJRiggins) and suggested PLIOBOND. I looked everywhere but was not successful. After a long search I finally found a half pint jar on Amazon. It is made by The Ruscoe Co., 485 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44301. The phone number is 800-293-8148.
Lay down a lot of paper towels. This stuff is extremely sticky and smells bad. I cut a small sliver with a craft knife in the rubber ring since the rubber expanded a small amount. Even though it has a Brush In The Can, I used a fine Art Brush to apply the glue only where I wanted it to go.

I will keep this stuff in the garage away from my sensitive nose.

So ... did it do the job?
How do I get a hold of RJ Riggins. He used to be on here pretty regular but havn't heard anything from him in years. He's a good guy.

It worked very nicely. It was neat and feels good when I select a mode.

You could try sending a private message to: rjriggins11. He repaired the “joystick” knob on the same camera.
