Hi all my UGG sport photo friends. Quick question.Has anyone ever had a lens release not work and not been able to get lens off camera? Did you send somewhere for repair or know how to get it released. It is on a Nikon D800 with 24-85mm lens attached. Thanks BE SAFE!!

I once got my 300mm PF stuck on my D500. It would not budge. The problem was a bent thread on the lens. Also almost stuck on an FTZ adapter the week prior. Sent to Nikon and they had to replace the lens mount and receptacle mount on the camera. Cost me about $450, but at the time cheaper than replacing both.

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to spend that much really. I can still take wonderful photos with it that way it is. I have my D810 camera also. Just can't use different lenses. Thanks again. BE SAFE!!
