Somewhat subdued colors around my two places

Nice variety, Joe.
Thanks, Mike. But where I am, it is really slim pickings for color and variety. In Indiana, I see dozens that look like sparrows to me (but I'm sure many are different varieties). I hear cardinals all day. None come to visit in spite of food. Bluejays squawking? Yes, they land nearby and then see me and take off. Saw a pheasant running along the road and didn't have my phone or camera (just for a visit to the Dollar Store).
I love flowers because they don't run away 😜😜😜

That is an indigo bunting - waiting for the right pitch to bunt on and take first, advancing the runner 💙💙
You will appreciate this: Two days no internet on my landline. AT&T was on the phone with me for a couple of hours.
My DSL seemed speedy ten years ago, now it is sluggish, and then Monday, it was dead. Tech came over and was on the line having them test everything in the area. Said five other people with DSL were down as well. They had to order a card to fix the problem. In the meantime, I called them to ask them to remove my landline (1 call a month for several years) and get me on better internet. I signed up, and will save about $70/month with the new internet and no landline. Well, guess whose internet came up today? Yes. They sure have a great way to market, don't they?
