IPAD and Windows 11 Workstation Collaboration

I want help setting up collaborative effort with another photo editor. The joint equipment and software list is as follows:
Adobe Photography subscription.
iPad 2TB
Windows 11 workstation
I know next to nothing about an iPad. That, however, is the choice of other editor. I have not used the Adobe Lightroom Cloud version. I do use Adobe Lightroom Classic and a little Adobe Photoshop. The other collaborator will be able to learn quickly. I can share files using a USB stick. I would like to be able to share, between the two of us, raw and edited photos on the cloud.
My questions are about how to set up an efficient workflow. Could both users share a common ".lrdata file"? I doubt that they could. I am informed by Adobe that the photography subscription includes two users. I presume they can be on dissimilar hardware. What Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop versions would be used? They have Adobe Lightroom for iPad. Has anyone done this? Adobe appears to not be available for calls at this time. I would appreciate hearing anyone's experience with a somewhat similar situation. Thanks at least for taking the time to read this!

My view is that your best bet is to adapt to the Lightroom CC system. Both the iPad and your Windows computer will be able to share and see the edits from the other. The Lightroom CC develop tools are equal to Classic. It misses some of the cataloging, printing, mapping and book printing tools.

There are also "smart collections" in Classic that will sync to CC albums.

When Lightroom CC first came out and they tagged the legacy one as "Classic" it was pretty weak. Adobe has put a lot of work into their "ecosystem" of linked parts. I've enjoyed using them. I can take a picture with my phone and it will sink to all versions of Lightroom, be seen with edits on my tablet, phone and on my laptop in either CC or Classic. I can also use a traditional camera and import into Classic with the same synced result.

In other words, I could hand you my tablet while I keep my laptop and we could be collaboratively editing.

There are also some built in sharing tools in CC that I've not yet explored that may work for you.

Adobe is on a worldwide holiday standdown. They do it every year. Their phone in service is more aimed at crashing computers than creative workflows. If it were me, I would be looking for "Adobe Ecosystem" tutorials and using their user forum to ask questions. The user forum is here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based/ct-p/ct-lightroom?page=1&sort=latest_replies&lang=all&tabid=all

I did a google search on "lightroom collaborative editing" and got plenty of things to read. Included is one from Kelby that looks like it will answer your question much better than I did!

One thing to consider if you intend to collaborate in real time. Distance apart between users is a factor. Typical to see 60-70msec latency (best case) from coast to coast. Doesn’t sound like much, but can add up quickly with large files that are sent as individual packets using TCP/IP over the internet.

The Kelby article appears to be an excellent source of knowledge for collaboration with Lightroom. We will give some form of what he has described a try.

Thanks again.
