Rick from NY posted some beautiful photos of a lovely child in, supposedly, the wrong section.
My Opinion:
Ever since the format changes to this forum, it has more increasingly difficult to navigate the sections. Therefore, posting photos anywhere on the forum seems appropriate. If the forum was re-formated to the old representations, it would be much easier for us to correctly post item subjects where they are supposed to be posted based on a standarized format, rather than no format at all.

I agree. And I let Admin know it a few weeks ago.

Why is the new format confusing so many people?
I find it very easy to understand.
In fact easier than the previous format.

The new format is only The Digest.
Posting in categories didn't change.
FEW PEOPLE DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT CATEGORY THEIR POST WILL BE MADE, they just post.
There is a pull-down menu option for categories, always been!

I agree it is pretty easy to use. Even creating a new post & choosing a section to put it in is pretty easy. Some of the wrong section replies come off a little less than nice, IMHO.

I'm with you and Rick, Mike. I've been unhappy with and ever since the change. I don't think our voiced dissatisfaction will bear fruit but who knows?! As for the folks that don't notice a difference in the forum...good for them.

Just gotta pay attention to what one is doing.....

It didn't take much time at all to acclimate to the 'new' format. Just hit home and voila', all the sections that one 'chooses' pops up.
I would like to see, however, the lists in alphabetical order......easier than scrolling down to find them.
Maybe this comes from having to organize things in my life to make work easier, and from working in a library for a couple of years to make ends meet. Not that I have a book fetish, or anything.......
Now if I could only muster the "y'ant to" to attack my tool shed from hell

What are you talking about???
Nothing has changed about the way pictures are posted!!!
I really do appreciate that we don't post pictures in the Main Photography section.

You often state your dislikes (and sometimes likes) but you never give any reasons....🤔

I don't want to see other people images and I don't want to share my images so I prefer to have all images sharing in their own section. The other day, I saw a post "Im new here" in the main section and I thought the person wanted to ask a question so I went there. I found that the person only had some images to share. I did tell the person that he/she posted in the wrong section but I also understand that he/she is new and thus didn't know the way around the UHH yet. Many people thought that I am rude.

Most of us agree with you.

Admin needs to make it clear somewhere that they don't want any pictures in "Main".
I only found out because I posted a painting of an itinerant photographer's wagon. I was hoping for a discussion of how those guys lived and worked. Admin moved it to "Gallery". I exchanged a few posts with Admin but never really understood why he didn't understand my intent.
