I have quite a few tripod; however I saw a sale for Vanguard VOE3+263 ball head. It looks to have a lot of advantages for macro work and the price was right.
I should receive it in about a week.
If you have one let me know how you like it.
Have great 2024 and keep shooting.

go to Vanguard usa and look for Christmas deals.
It looks like a decent tripod to me. My only reservation would be the apparent small ball in the head. The tilting centerpost will need a counter balance to keep from tipping over with camera/lens weight when extended ! .....No, I do not have one ....
I have had one for past two years and it works great for me. Use a Canon 5D mii with up to 70-200mm lens on it with no issues.
I think you will like it.

No but one for macro also. Maybe in the future.
Vanguard sells lots of stuff , Not sure what they actually manufacture or have manufactured for them over seas.
They make lots of tripods with double extension center columns , I wouldn't recommend those from any manufacturer. I would say test it thoroughly as soon as you get it, so you can return it if it doesn't measure up.
For macro, rigidity is really important
