Anybody have or read the latest book or books by Scott on Photoshop/Lightroom ? I really like his style, esp. his wit, and would like to bone up on the latest features before I download the latest LR/PS bundle on my new computer. Thanks in advance... Bob

Please forgive me if I am missing something here. Why not just buy the latest book(s) and have them for your use. Surely Amazon will have them in stock.

I guess it is whether anyone has Kelby's latest book and how inclusive is it on AI etc... I was just asking if anyone here have or read it... Was not that what I asked ? There are a lot of Photoshop books out there and I was just looking for a good one with updated current information. Sorry if I was not specific enough.. Thanks anyway.

Hi Bob. I can't help you with the book, but can validate your question. I just attended a two-day live training class a couple of weeks ago. The latest update is very substantial...lots of changes.
Also make sure that whatever you pursue matches your version...Mac or PC. There are some significant differences in what the user interface presents to the user. Once you get past those, everything is pretty much the same. But some of us PC users were getting frustrated because we couldn't access things the way the instructor was trying to show us with his Mac.

Thank you so much Larry... I have a 7 year old book by Scott and thoroughly enjoy his style... You can't buy much in the way of books anymore for 5.99 . The fact you mentioned substantial changes is what I was most concerned about with AI and things like generative fill... I have a Mac and that too was of concern. Thank you so much for the info... Bob
The problem with any physical book in this day and age is that it almost immediately becomes dated. There are also so many free options that buying books doesn’t make sense.

Now I’m specifically talking post processing books. A good novel I still prefer actual pages.

Ha Ha... Yes I understand, I was just digressing a little... listening doesn't tire my old eyes out so much. You just gave me an idea of checking audio books in my photoshop search.. I guess they all don't have to be novels...

Your audio book comment helped me remember.
There are several members here with failing eyesight, my condolences as that can be terrifying.
My late wife lost her eyesight and was able to get free audio books from the library of Congress.
If you don't need to own a book this is a great service for the blind and visually impaired and the available books seem to be nearly infinite for subject matter.
For those who didn't know this, it is worth looking into.
