I'll often see a path in the forest that looks like an inviting subject for a photo and wish that there was a person either coming or going at the end of the path. Here I got lucky and there are two elements, a bus and a person, making essentially the same turn unto the Manhattan bridge. Luck was also with me because there are only those two elements visible that keeps the composition from becoming cluttered. All comments and idea are, as always, very welcome.

Thanks, Don. Yes, I guess there are a lot of them now that you mention it. I'm starting to like this photo more and more.

This is a really nice shot, Erich. My only concern is that the bright yellow of the bus overwhelms (to me, anyway) the rest of the photo.
Perhaps a black and white version . . . .

I had not thought of that because I liked the blue of the railing. Now that you have me thinking about it, I'll do a black and white conversion and see if I like it better. Thanks for giving me the idea.

I really like your photograph. Well done. May I suggest if you are going to play with more regarding post processing you edit/crop out the can on the lower right. I doubt you will lose any important aspect of the photo and will gain much.

Thank you for taking such a close look at the photo. I'm wondering why you think the can is more of a distraction than the other trash on the sides of the sidewalk. It is, of course, the closest bit of trash visible. I'm of two minds about the can you mentioned. On the one hand, it was there. Now that you alerted my attention specifically to that area, I will always see that can. I think you are right....It is easy enough to get rid of. I think it will have to go.

Thank you for your added comments. Yes there are other things that could be removed but the can, because of its color, stood out. Because it is at the bottom right it can easily be cropped out rather than some other type of replacement technique you may have.

Beautiful Erich. Everything else has already been said. I'd like to see a B&W version

Ok, then I think I should get to that. While I'm at it, I think I'll remove that offending can which now is beginning to bother me as well.

Here is the black and white version. I toned down the yellow so that the school bus was not so bright and I ramped up the blue slider to make the blue handrail more prominent. I'm undecided at this point; but I think the color version works better. I feel like the bus is now not as important an element as it was in the color version. That splash of yellow helps to accentuate the bus more.

I like this one much better Erich. I found the yellow bus very distracting. Going against the flow, I miss the can it added honesty to the shot.
