No progress since I joined the gym five months ago. Tomorrow, I'm going down there in person to see what the problem is. They told me if I joined, I would lose up to 15 pounds.

I think you didn't read the fine print. It's not enough to pay the membership fee you also have to go to the gym and exercise.

That's for the English market. In the U.S.A. you just lose dollars.

Good luck! Gyms don’t advertise guaranteed results. 😰

Just kidding people it was a joke about the Gym. I am actually in pretty good shape for an 80-year-old. I walk my dog 2 miles every morning. Weather permitting. I run a 5K 3 days a week. Nothing to brag about, it takes me 39 -42 min. Still doing pretty good after surviving prostate cancer and Chronic lymphocytic leukemia. By no means am I trying to brag or impress you, I'm trying to stay healthy. If you are in a rut, force yourself to exercise a few days a week. It will help you both mentally and physically. Get an e-bike if that gets you off the couch and out of the house. Take a hike and take some photos.

If you are in England, maybe they meant £15.

I am impressed! At 81 I am starting to slow down. The 5k was never in my exercise mix, but I was a regular gym rat (a power lifter). Then I contracted 100% A-Fib about 2 years ago. While they “cured” it, I never really fully recovered. So you keep going.
