Normally I would agree with NMGal but in this case I find this B&W compelling. Had it been in color it would have just been one of thousands of similar photos. I really appreciate the composition and contrast.

The B&W sunflower field image gives equal billing to the beautiful leaf, stem and stalk structure holding up the blooms. Great idea to show it as B&W. Beautifully done, John.
