Hello. Anyone have experience of making their own calendars? . Am specifically hoping to find a source for buying calendars blanks that I can stick my own photographs on rather than having Apple or Vistaprint etc. make them for me. Do not have printer of sufficient quality to print my own from computer template. Thank you. Modest.

just do a google search on "Free 2013 printable calender" and print your own. I have the punch and plastic hinges but I would think if your are just doing 1 some of these stores would punch it for you. I do 25 like calenders for our race team and one each for each of our kids families.

A few years ago, I "designed" a calendar in PSE8, had it printed on card stock at Staples, had Staples put a spiral through the top edge, put my photos on each page, and gave them for Christmas presents.
Big hit!

I love the quality of vista print - I get the heavier paper choice and they are good size.

Right. Some people complain that we ask too many obvious questions here. They say we should "look it up." This is a perfect example of why UGG is valuable. It's a social forum where people can interact and share their ideas and experiences.

Amen
I concur Jerry, if responders don't want to waste their time, they should just move on quietly, rather than make a poster feel lousy first. We all seek knowledge and learn in our own styles.
Genius, I hope your calendar is exactly what you had in mind. Do post all your sources when you're done so others can benefit from your new knowledge.
Good luck

Hello Sharpshooter, Tried Apple. Good but pricey and takes a week. Tried Walgreen's, Takes One hour and for $20.00 you get a very nice $2.99 calendar......I eventually picked up a calendar at the dollar store and stuck photos on. Looks cheap and cheerful but is handmade. Will get rest through Apple. Never been one to mind asking questions or been offended by others points of view. Thanx for all your input and advice.

I use Calendar Creator, allows me to create individualized calendars showing family birthdays, anniversaries, etc, and print on card stock and have Staples/Office Max/Copy Shop/etc spiral or GB bind.

Family loves em!!

I used that back in 3 1/2" floppy days. I think I have a copy on CD. What I liked about that program was that I could make a calendar for the day, week, month, or year.

How about this idea ... Buy some pre-perforated paper and print calendars on your printer. You can also buy the spiral binder coils, or use ribbon/string to create unusual calendars.

I've had one of those spiral binding machines for years, and they're great - much better than staples and paperclips.
