No, it's not perfect, but it is functional. I think I'll make another one, with a couple of modifications. I'd like to add magnets to keep the supporting board held against the main body. I made this with 1/4" oak boards, Titebond glue, and Minwax Oak stain.

Looks good to me and a damn site easier than messing with forming metal rod!!!

Looks very good to me.
One mod I can think of is a handle of some sort to enhance portability.

Thanks. As I always say, my work is functional, but not perfect. That oak stain on the oak wood makes a huge difference.
