What I mean by made is I seldom rely on what the camera sees and adjust the image according to my liking at the time using the available software I have. I consider composition rules guidelines and follow my instincts. I shoot for my own pleasure and don't respond much to suggestions or criticism .

Thank you for answering. In all my years of picture taking never has the camera seen what I saw when I took the picture. Digital cameras and Photoshop enable me to reproduce what I saw

I think most of us do that to some extent, even if it’s just touching up the exposure, or cropping or something like that. Others like to add something else to the scene that wasn’t there when the image was taken, or remove something that wasn’t wanted in the scene, and that’s ok. All my picture taking is for my own enjoyment, too.
