On our first day at the hotel in Monteverde we did an early morning walk and I captured the first two shots in this set on faith. The birds were so far away that I just pointed my lens and trusted the guide. I am sorry that I do not have any ID on these first two shots, but when my bird app identified the first shot as a house sparrow, I knew that a North American bird app would be no help.
The rest of this set contains familiar birds on their southern vacation.

Cool set Mike. The second one is a Great Kiskadee, I'm working on the shore bird in No. 7

Thanks, Jack, now that you mention it, I remember that is what the guide said. Good luck on that other one.

Awesome job, well done, Mike
If they have turkey vultures soaring all over down there, I would feel right at home 😜

That was over the river that joined the Pacific Ocean, Joe, most of the birds were familiar, but there were crocodiles instead of gators.
I appreciate your thumbs up, Frank.
