We tried to re-create the best we could today, I didnt dig out the black background as Miss Emorie really wasnt being very cooperative doing photos today so we just made do with shooting in front of the fireplace.

You are 100% correct. Whether called squids, anchor clankers or dixie cups those who wear the same uniform as our Chief (and my father) do know how to do the right thing when called upon. They are pretty Special.

Great photographs Tom. Emorie looks great and is most likely already starting to dream of Santa and presents under the tree. She is growing up to be very lovely.

GOATs are ARMY critters, Dennis! Never seen an Army/Navy football game?? The Army mascot is a GOAT!

Yup I have seen an Army Navy football game. West Point was right across the Hudson from where I graduated high school. I have just never been interested in much that was Army what with having a Navy father and a twin brother in the USMC with me. Another brother did join the Army and of course we are proud of him and his accomplishments.

Well, Dennis, I didn't mean to make it sound like a lesson! Sorry about that!
Everyone in my family that went military went Navy. Except one! There is ALWAYS one! He went Air Force, and of course, we are proud of him. Even though we do consider him the black sheep of the family!
There were five brothers in the family in the military at one time. All enlisted except one! There is ALWAYS one! He wanted to fly, and in the Navy, enlisted people don't do that! Of course, the enlisted guys provided him with a safe flying platform at his beck and call!
