Just north of you, Jack. Tucson, Davis Monthan Air Force Base!
Glad you liked the photos!!
I hope you're going to the Desert Museum. We're coming down for a week or two in Feb. and that's the first place I go when I get to Tucson. The raptor show is a great way to practice bird-in-flight stuff.

Yep, been there a few times. I suspect we will go again this time, more than once maybe. Are you coming down in February for the gem and mineral show?
As full time RV'ers we have spent the winter here several times. Other than our favorite restaurant closing down, it's all about the same. If you've never had a Schlotzky's sandwich, make sure to give it a try. They're down by the airport. Best sourdough sandwiches on the planet!

show quote)
We used to make all the Gem and Mineral shows, (my wife makes jewelry) but for the past few years, we've skipped them. We plan to come down after the shows so can get a hotel room. We sold our fifth wheel a couple of years ago because it was just getting too hard on me to do, so we have to stay in hotels.
P.S.: My youngest brother was stationed at Davis-Monthan back in the late sixties or early seventies. I think it was still Titan IIs in those days.

This is all I have so far, but we'll be here all winter, so be prepared to have your socks blown off!
I hope you like!
Fantastic pair!! Chief
I see the noise only in the back ground.
Great set, Chief! Hummers are tough!
Nice Chief! Enjoy your southwestern winter residency!
