I'm new to ugly hedgehog, but not to photography. My greatest strength is analog photography, have begun in 1973 with a Pentax H1a and Pentax spotmatic IIa. I Went through a time of Yashica mat's rolleiflexes, and minolta autocords. There was a 2 year period I used Graflex 4X5 view cameras. I always developed and printed my negatives.
In 2018 I began with digital using DSLR's specifically a nikon p7100, a Nikon D7000, and a Nikon D5000. I spent less time with the photo and more time fiddlinh with the camera controls and really had no joy. These days I have a small collection of old film cameras and am hunting places where I look for rare and unusual cameras.
I'm back to analog film and cameras and enjoying every minute of it.
Looking forward to seeing what's going on.
Welcome. Post and have fun.
Welcome to the forum. Check out the various sections including one called "Film Photography", although that one doesn't get a lot of traffic I'm sure they would love your participation. Be sure to subscribe to any sections you're interested in so any new posts will show up in your feed, or whatever it is called. You can always unsubscribe if it gets to be to much
Welcome aboard. I think most of us are interested in seeing the photographs you have taken.
Dennis
Welcome. I see someone has already suggested the "film" section to you. Look forward to seeing your images.
Welcome to the Forum, enjoy.
Welcome to the Ugly Hedgehog...
Back in the day, I shot a lot of film myself, from when I was in high school (graduated in 1965) up until the mid-2000's (2006 to be exact) most of it 35mm, but I also have a rather nice Zeiss Ikonta 52 ½, a 6x9 folder (see my UHH avatar) that I last used in 1978.
Welcome to UHH nikophile, glad you joined us.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.
