Bald-Eagle feasting on Deer

I got lucky today, as I was driving home from Lake Pepin, I spotted this Bald-Eagle feasting on a dead Deer in the ditch. I quick did a u-turn, grabbed my camera and fired away.
I don't think he appreciated my presence too much. I think he heard my camera. He got a bit nervous, and then flew up the hill to watch from above.
you can see Deer fluff on his beak.

There isn't any real quiet mode on my D800. I've tried that. Which just becomes a single shot mode
