Beautiful weather and a return of many of our "Snowbird" friends resulted in a good turnout for our last Cruise-in for 2023.
1932 Ford 2dr Sdn Hot rod
1939 Pontiac Streetrod
1950 Chevy "Smoothie" Custom
Frt Engine Corvair
Chevy Big-block power in Corvair
Nice use of early Corvette grille
Old School Ford Cpe Hot Rod
Sweet set! I like the 82nd Abn front license plate on the first one.
Thanks for sharing these. I've never even heard of someone doing that to a Corvair. That had to be quite a trick to pull off.
Love the Corvair. Looks like a really sanitary conversion. If it's meant for street or strip use there's not nearly enough rubber on the rear.

Fantastic set!!!!
Let Nader put that in his pipe and smoke it.
Really nice shots. My favorite shot is the second one of the 1939. Although, I thought the only colour of paint they had back then was black!

I bet that big block plays havoc with the Corvair’s CG and handling. Nice looking ‘50 smoothy.

Actually, there are several of these front-engine'd V-8 Corvairs in my area, but this one is particularly well done.
Great series, Rodder, is that a v-6 in the Corvair?

Why settle for a V-6 when you can drop in a Big Block Chevy V-8? Not sure of the displacement, but either 396c.i. or 454c.i would be a good guess, possibly even more if the engine was stroked or bored.
