Online photo Book creation sites from UK?

Have been thinking of getting some of my photos printed up in to books, hardback, all in the same size / style etc.

Anyone have any recommendations for good reasonable priced sites that post to the UK?

We have many photos on iPhoto, but can not use the Apple photo or book printing options as for some reason Apple won't accept that the Channel Islands exist..the bastards will take our money when we buy an Apple product but won't give us any on line services or support afterwards..We are part of the Uk but they refuse to deal with us.

Hi. I have used Photobox lots of times for books and calendars. I found their site very easy to use and the books came out great. They are very reasonable. I got 26 pages in book for £20 plus postage, but they quite often have good deals on. You can put lots or only one pic on each page. I have also used Vistaprint but didn't like them much. I wouldn't recommend them. I live just outside Edinburgh, so postage wasn't a problem. Don't know if they deliver to Channel Islands. Might be worth a look. Good luck.

I have used photobox too and the books have been fine. Just had callendars and mousemat and diary printed by Vistaprint and they are lovely - second year of using them. You do get loads of offers from them but I just delete until I am ready to use them again.

I have used Photobox Printerpix and Poster XXL, all have been fine. The best prices seem to come through groupon.

ProAm - a lot of our Camera Club members use this and do highly recommend it. Haven't tried it myself though. LR also do a version, not sure about the delivery to Jersey though.

I have had a similar problem from Amazon when trying to order something on line that is made it USA, they just wouldn't ship to the UK - weird I know.

I use Snapfish.co.nz for mine, they have a sister company in the UK, snapfish..co.uk, I would hazard a guess that the quality would be the same. I'm very impressed with the products I've got from them in the past, including a couple of photobooks. At the moment I see they have 50% off photobooks.

Thanks for the replies..I never get e-mail notification, despite my profile being set to send e-mails and the Watch Topic box being ticked, it seems that the settings in Profile never 'stick'
Not a spam filter issue either

I've used Vistaprint for a calendar; they just emailed me to say that they've put St Andrews day in the wrong place but will 'allow' me to do a reprint for 50%; i.e. they're asking me to pay for putting right their error!

Photobox are fine. If there's a Groupon offer running, phone Photobox & ask them to match (or better it!) direct. I ordered 10 calendars for the Bridge Club & then 20 more using Groupon - when we got to 50 I got a better price from them direct for the remaining 30!

If the sums are worth it, I'd check up with your local trading standards people, /distance selling regs etc. I reckon they are liable to fix the issue at no charge to you.

mention to them that you are in the process of doing this, and you will get back to them when you have an answer from trading standards. I bet they will be keen to help you out with a free re print
