Some more of my gloomy black-and-whites

I think this is the first time I've hiked this canyon (through which a primitive road passes) with B/W conversions in mind, and it provided some good subjects. As your reward for looking at my photos I did include one in color--but only because it actually looked better in color. I hope you enjoy them.

The B&W set a good tone for the set. The last shot was almost a surprise.

After all the others it did kind of stand out. I took the shot with B/W in mind but it had so much natural warmth in its tones I stuck with color. Thanks for looking.

Gloomy? Hardly! Those are great, very artistic. And the last one, in color, is very nice as well. I love the B&W’s.
