Read it. My response to the article, nothing we don't already know here at UHH. We now have more options. Just because one can shoot super sharp & technique Ly correct, doesn't mean they have to. Wonder what Ansel A. would be doing with processing today with the options we have. I watch a fair amount of vids from a number of Leica channels & they do marketing like any other camera manufacture. Try & sell the product to the customer. It is a different time as far as film goes. If Leica didn't change with the times they might be out of bizz rite now & if not, much smaller in size & production. Leica still offers the new M6 film camera that I assume works with it's new lenses. Lenses? The new ones render much more clearly if one wants to & most likely to please the digital mass viewers. Leica owners choice. Leica still claims to have one of the easiest/simplest menu layouts out there only topped by HASSY (according to Hue, Three Blind Men & an Elephant you Tube channel). I get what the author is saying about the monochrome series & the Silver Effects software. Never used it or any other Leica for that matter to judge & who am to anyway? Who is the author, credible? There is a NY City photographer here at UHH & I THINK he uses a Leica. Produces some very nice photos & while most of it is the photographer, his photos & the way light is shown has me believing it has something to do with the optics, sensor & processor also. I would bet a six pack of Sam Adams Summer Ale that he doesn't do much to the files before posting them here if I knew him personally.
Happy holidays, Happy shooting & than you for the link.

PS, wish Nikon's manual .95 50mm Noct lens was as small as Leica's Noct lens !!!
