Find the Coyote

Traveled Wind Cave NP and Custer State Park on Tues looking for coyotes and/or eagles. Buffalo were plentiful but there was no snow to get any artful pictures. No eagles were in evidence either but there were four different coyotes hunting the prairie dog towns. Each coyote sighting was very brief, disappearing the moment we stopped the car. This was the best and longest sighting from which I managed the following picture: enjoy!

They can be really timid or quite brazen. I guess this one was from the timid tribe. Nice shot.

Very nice! I really like this photo. And it's nice to see animals in their own habitat.
