'It is sweet and fitting to die for your country', says the sign across the front of this WW1 truck. I photographed it several years ago at a remembrance event at the local tank museum. The setting is a field just below our house that was snow-covered in 2018. Not seen much in the way of snow since. The figures were taken at the same or a similar event and the whole thing was put together a while back. Apart from having to open the gate, there's no great trickery involved, just a simple composite. I don't think the hue of the truck quite matches the rest looking at it now - I leave you to decide! Any critique is welcome.
Imaginative, unique, engaging. You seem to have a warehouse full of great photos to use in composites, and you use them wonderfully!
WOW. That certainly puts the mind in gear!!! Thanks for sharing.
As usual a well put together composite.

Thanks Linda. For ten years I put around 30k images a year into Lightroom. They are stored on yearly external drives. I don’t do nearly so many nowadays but enjoy looking through previous years and conjuring up something. I am however getting withdrawal symptoms - need to get out on some shoots!
