My friend grows the corn and then makes her own cornmeal. I am lucky that she shares it with me! This stuff is so much better. I use my grandma's old Red Wing bowl for the batter and my trusty cast iron for baking.

I made corn bread to go with my chili con carne last week. I bet yours is much better than mine.

I'm with Curmudgeon on this..... I'm due for makin' our Christmas Chili! ...an' cornbread is an integral part of said meal!!
