sadly but how true ? im 85 now and i would not like to start again in the world of today reminds me of poem my mother gave to me so many many years ago If hands of time were backward turned yet still posses the things we learned i wonder who same paths would tread ever knowing where they lead or who would stand their at the gate and choose another path to take to start again at the begging without a thought of loss or winning ???

That's a beautiful poem, but I have to agree with you I would not want to start over again. :-(

Grandparents are apparently the keepers of common sense AND we don't have to be PC about it becauseÂ…we don't have to or actually don't want to put a governor on what we say or blurt out. Guess who hangs on our every word? Grandkids! Yes, they rat us out but we don't care and often times hope they do. We all remember sage bits if wisdom from the elders in our own childhoods and these kids will remember us too. "Cream will rise" sus
Hey Grandma sus,
I like your outlook!
