I had heard about this, but here's a good explanation.
Related: In England, they call it a "head-up" display. They also say, "Going to the heads," while we say, "Going to the head." When you hear a foreigner speaking English, you can tell where he learned English by his wording and pronunciation.

Every bird's nest has a tiny picture of Ben Franklin hanging in there. The first bird to hatch is always named Ben.
You'll notice that there are no photographs of flocks of flying birds before the time of Ben Franklin.
