The first photo shows the falls from downstream where we had a permit to go to the waters edge. In past years you could go out into the water with waders. For some reason they have stopped that, however fishermen can. Go figure, they smell like fish, not us! Then we saw a woman and her daughter like 10 years old in the water with waders, not fishing but with a camera. A way to get around the rule, say your fishing, then don't..
I got my feet wet and my butt trying to get low on the bank. These are all I was able to get. Yes, you get reasonable close to the bears, but again the bears just want fish.
