Winter is dragging on here with cold weather and snow, with few photo ops. At least for me, anyway. So I was looking at photos from a few years ago and found these, taken at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center south of Anchorage. Taken with a Nikon D7200 and Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 lens. Nope, not taken in the wild. These critters are all ones that have been injured and taken in to recover or have been abandoned as babies and raised at the Center. Some will be released back into the wild, some never will due to the nature of their injuries or the fact that they’ve never developed survival skills because they were so young when brought to the Center.
NICE series ! .....thanks for sharing
Very nice. I often wonder if we are doing them (the critters) any favors.
