Hello - my name is Katherine Smith and annually I travel to Utah to spend 4 nights and 5 days photographing in and around Boulder and Escalante, Utah. This is an assisted hiking/camping trip. I work with an outfitter who provides all meals and any necessary camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags) or you can bring your own. The outfitter packs all camping gear and 15 lbs of personal equipment to the campsite. All you have to carry in is your camera gear. We had four of our group drop out this year, due to personal reasons, so I am looking for four more like minded individuals. The trip is the last week of April in 2024. If anyone is interested, please let me know and I will give you more information. There is a cost for this, as we all split the cost of the outfitter. It’s usually somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000, depending on how many people go. There is no professional involved - nothing is being sold or asked of participants other than to bring a sense of adventure, a love of hiking and camping and the ability to go a week without a shower (there will be a “toliet” area).
