I have used Corel Paintshop Pro for about fifteen years and it does most of what I need. It is not hard to learn the basic program and if you want to do more intense work it will do that as well. They usually have a trial version and I would suggest you give it a try. If you decide to purchase, it normally runs around 100.00 but often goes on sale for 60 to 70. I also use Topaz for things like Sharpen AI, Noise AI, and Gigapixel AI for increasing file sizes.
