Here's a candid portrait of my little friend, Wot.
I just bought a new lens, the ultralight Canon RF100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM, for some long walking, wildlife spying & macro-esque sessions in good weather. I have to agree with Ken Rockwell (
https://www.kenrockwell.com/canon/eos-r/lenses/100-400mm.htm#good), after just a few photographs I can say that there's absolutely NOTHING that I don't like about this lens.
One days usage now has me wondering why I've stuck with L-series lenses all these years.

I had a friend like that "Al" back in the 1970s he appeared on and cold icy morning and I found him froze to the snow under my truck, I poured warm water around him freeing him from, that day He would follow me to the barn every morning and evening when I milked the cows see also would sit on your lap like a cat, then we got Geese and he thought he was a gander. When we moved I sold the geese and Al went with them.
