Hey all, long time, no see.
I wanna pick your brains here. I'm currently using a desktop pc and want to switch to a laptop. What is the best LT to buy for specifically Photoshop and Lightroom editing? Thanks all in advance.

I'm looking at an Acer, yes, they seem to perform better than HP or Dells over time.

Acer TravelMate P2 Business Laptop, 15.6" FHD Screen, Intel Core i3-1115G4, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, Webcam, Wi-Fi 6, Backlit Keyboard, Fingerprint Reader, Winodws 11 Pro

For $569 on Amazon, good display, and a fast 2TB SSD hard drive. Plenty of storage and room to move around. Will of course still back up to 2 SSD drives and the cloud.

My 33 year old son and my wife both have Acer LT and they out perform the HP and DELL we"ve had hands down, and have been for over 2 years now.

Great computers at a great price point!

Not to meddle, but I’d seriously consider at least an I-5 CPU if you plan to any photo editing.

Also this unit has a sd card reader! Makes it so easy to download your photos.

Every HP and Dell we've had end up slowing down within the first year, slow start up, etc... We have used all kinds of cleaning and speeds-em-up software trying to improve their performance, all of them were useless. So far after 2+years my wife's Acer is running like it did on day one.....
