Sinewsworn Loc: Port Orchard, WA

An Atmospheric River is aimed at the PNW and we are catching hell! 2" in less than 12 hours-very heavy rain for these parts. We are used to getting rain constantly spread over weeks, not days. Many landslides and local floods.

Birds need seed so I obliged. Photographed the poor critters as they lined up in the trees-all wet.

Z9, Z 70-200 f2.8. Dark day, heavy rain all day, but relatively warm-about 55 F.

A really nice set of really miserable birds! It reminds me of me! The constant cold rain, mist, fog, overcast, gloomy weather is why I no longer live there! Fifteen years was fourteen years too long! But beautiful when/if the sun ever broke through the dreary sky!
