Looks like R.G. and I had the same idea, making the town with historic buildings the main focus of the photo.
Enjoyed the image to process. My edit.
When I viewed this photo, it screamed snow globe.
The way I see it, My View.
I love Heidelberg! This was fun to view and to play with. I did very light processing.

My images seem to be coming up a lot darker, more noticeable in this one I think. Might have another look at it but Community Bus driving and Dentist today.
Anybody else notice this and if so do they compensate and by how much when editing. I'm using AFFINITY 2.

Yes, I too noticed the same thing, not just here but when I sent out for prints I had the same problem. I now usually add one final edit lightening the whole image between 1/2 and one stop after I think I'm finished just for posting or printing.

A slight revision taking Jim-Pops 'advice' into account. I'm hoping it's not so dark, and I've made the clouds a bit more foreboding. Please delete my original entry.
