Here's a photo a took of my dad with his new toy, a high powered pellet gun. Got this "shot" with my Canon EOS Rebel T3 and Canon Speedlite 430 EX II. Here are the details: Manual Exposure - ISO 200 - Cloudy WB - f/11 - 1/500th Shutter Speed - 55mm focal length - High Speed Sync Flash using E-TTL II and flash exposure compensation set at 0 - 1/4 CTO gel on the head of the flash. This is straight out of the camera with no post processing or adjustments.

Very nice shot! Focus is right on. The only thing I think I would have done differently is to put a bit more space in front of the gun. Lead the viewer. Cheers.
