Yes, I do. It's a Teac x-2000R. Purchased in the mid-80's. It works, but I haven't connected it with an USB interface that I purchased recently, and hoping that I don't have to buy a higher end one. I downloaded Audacity to convert so will have to get up to speed with that. I had the recorder serviced a few years ago, just haven't made use of it. Planning on selling it after I'm done, current asking prices are slightly higher than I bought if for.

I just finishing digitizing over 300 CDs and donated them to the local library. Didn't want to send them to a land fill. Now looking at doing the same thing to 30 10 inch reel to reel tapes, and then on to over 300 vinyl. Hopefully I'll wrap it up before I'm wrapped up.

I have done the same with many of mine. I also use the site, www.MP3million.com to download individual tracks and albums in mp3 format at a very reasonable price. $.09 for tracks, about $1 per album. I also download albums from Youtube. I bought a converter for $23. Works like silk for downloading and converting to mp3 format. Unfortunately, YouTube now has commercials unless one pays for a subscription. That's fair, but I already have around 50,000 files on a dedicated SSD, most being albums. I have a Sonos sound system and with the app, I can access and play anything in my music folder. The app is on my cell phone. The sound is fabulous and having access to my entire library is a wonderful convenience.

Thanks for your comments. Hope you are wrapped!!
Mark

You are lucky to have this machine and wise to service it while there were parts
Use cheap Amazon line to USB adapter and Quicktime to MP3 my cassettes Main drawback for more critical recording auto volume control

If you sell your 10 inch reels you would get a lot of money. People need them for blank. As for the CD if you have them I would like to have them, I will pay shipping. The vinyl is worth some money so I won't ask for them buy you can get money out of them.

Thanks very much for your offer, but as stated earlier, I donated them to a local library that sells them for a $1.
I doubt that there's much of a current need for large reels of tape, but there is an outlet that sells them, https://reeltoreelwarehouse.com/ They sell new if available, but also refurbish used ones and resell them with a 90 day warranty.

I still have a few hundred Dbx encoded cassettes and a Nakamichi deck with Dbx that amazingly still works, it’s the rubber belts that die in tape machines and can be nightmarish to change IF you can find the correct belts. Both my high end TEACs died that way and were just too painful to repair. No idea why the Nak hasn’t secumbed (yet).

Digitize those DBX cassettes while your machine runs!

Yeah, I need to take the time to do that for any that have music that is irreplaceable. Good project for later this winter.

Hi again. I just found another 50 or so CD's that were discovered when Christmas boxes were moved. I knew that I had them, but couldn't find them. I wanted to offer them to you since you had previously asked. If you're no longer interested, that's OK. I will donate them to the local library as before.

A Happy New Year to you and yours.

I had several cubic feet of music CDs. We moved and I took the ones I listened to and put the music in my iPhone, then donated the CDs to Goodwill and took a tax donation.

My phone has about 3 days of music in it if I were to play it all sequentially. There is room for more. I can play it in the car through Bluetooth.
