This is my first post in this section. I'm playing around a bit with the photo effects selections in my a6400. Watercolor effect and in the second case a closeup with my fisheye lens. Natural morning lighting on my window sill.
Interesting, I really like the first one.
So pleased you joined us, Mark! I like both very much. The forms and colors make an impact, with #2 being my favorite because it's
really out there
I see you are still using film. I'm not subscribed to film photography section since I've been exclusively digital since around 2006. But browsing your recent topics, I was drawn to your interest in light here:

Hi Linda, thanks for your comments. Yes, I'm still using film occasionally, but due to costs and lack of immediacy I just shoot film occasionally. These shots however are digital, shot with my Sony mirrorless a6400.

Hi! I really like both of them and when I think I've discovered my favorite, I think, well maybe the "other one". Both are shot with expert camera handling and both are slightly different from each other. Flower colors are startling in their impact. Excellent work!!!
I like them both a lot. Great execution.
Tom
Both have "in your face" bright colors the blooms are awake.
I like them both. The colors are great.

I think I like the second one better because it is a bit more abstract.
