We stayed in Girdwood Alaska our last night of my trip and there was a pond with water lilies. I really liked how the evening light hit the flowers and the reflections.

I really like the lighting in #2, that you noted. #1 really appeals to me as well and who wouldn't love the cute little duck! I'm not a fan of bug photography but I really like your dragonfly.

Wonderful set, Beth. Wasn’t expecting water lily’s in Alaska. Love the light and reflections that you captured.
This is one magnificent set Beth! The lighting on the Spatterdock is just perfect. The reflections really make the pictures for me. Of course I'm quite partial to your excellent DIF shot. With the rest of your shots, and at first glance I thought it might be a Spatterdock Darner but on closer inspection I realized it is a Paddle-tailed Darner (Aeshna palmata). Fine work! I really enjoyed this set.
