It’s a very pleasant composition though I might have framed it with the lawn furniture about a foot to the left and left the fov the same. All in all a nice shot.

Ah, that's a good observation, Bruce. Thanks! I didn't have any more in the frame on the right side or top, so I added to see what would look like (a few tweaks needed).

I like the composition and I think the repositioning in your second photo has brought it up to a new level.
What I see: The first is more snapshot looking and the second is more artistic with a minimalism effect added. I like the high key but would like to see the top and left edge of the back of the chair and the top edge of the table that has disappeared; just enough for definition, just the thinnest line.
Nice one. Sorry you got some white stuff. But you got a nice picture out of it. I do like it with the added space on the right. Your perspective is different, but it gives a good slant to the scene.

Thanks very much for your detailed feedback, Dodie. From your comment and one I received via pm, I think I need to go a little more "dreamy" or a skosh more detailed, as you suggest.

Thanks very much, Kathy. I decided to wander through my apartment building, taking photos through the windows rather than putting on winter gear and risk falling. I liked the second-floor perspective of this scene that I wouldn't have known about had I not been a wimp
