I'm out yesterday on my deck after turning on the pump to top off one of the ponds...and I just glance up...and the thug was right there.
Came up empty...but he'll be back...they always come back.

I sometimes forget how much larger they are than the Red Shouldered Hawks that hang out here...until one shows up.
