These are photos taken at 1:1 according to the reading of my Nikon Micro Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8G ED lens. I'm using a Nikon D90. The size of the small miniatures are 3/4 of an inch (vertical), not the whole miniature, just what it was taken in the picture. Is that means that the size of the sensor in my camera is the same?
I'm lost :!: :!: :-(

The Nikon 105mm Micro will be a true 1:1 macro (life size) on your sensor only when used at the minimum focusing distance for the lens. At 2 feet away you won't have 1:1

MT Shooter; thanks for your reply. I'm going to post a picture that is going to be 6 inches away from the lens. That's the minimum distance that I can focus. The photo will be in the macro forum.
Thanks again
