Honey and bumble (or carpenter) bees, Oct. 2023. After the hummer(s) left, the bees had the Salvia flowers to themselves. Then they left too, the flowers are dead, and the plant is in the ground for winter.

Tried to zoom in closer - from the closest the lens would focus - and also cropped more aggressively. Comments and critiques welcome.

Thank you, imagemeister, for viewing and commenting. These were easier relative to the BIFs.

Equipment : Nikon Z8, F mount 300mm f/4 on #1, Z mount 400mm f/4.5 lens + TC 1.4 on the rest. Learned later that the former can focus closer, though I was able to focus from 6'ish feet away with the longer lens+TC.

Settings (e.g., on the second one) : 1/640 sec, f/6.3, ISO 450, center-weighted metering, single-point autofocus.
Topaz DeNoise (with minimal sharpening).
