I always enjoy Jerry's posts about good television, and thought I would share a few recent things here.
1. Albert Brooks: Defending my Life, on various streaming services (Hulu, Amazon, HBO Max). This is an absorbing documentary about the legendary comedian and his remarkably dramatic life.
2. Hello World. On Amazon, Apple TV. This is a stand up comedy special with a comic named Nick Barzgatze. These sorts of things are a dime a dozen now, but what I particularly liked about this one is that he is very clean but also very funny. The whole family can enjoy this one together.
3. If You Were the Last, on Peacock. This is a science fiction movie about a man and a woman who are stranded out in space, and cannot return home. They are in committed relationships with other people on earth, so what do they do? The especially low budget space effects were a nice change, and its a good story about human frailty.
