I plan to buy Z 70-200 but the price difference is almost $300. Can you explain if the two lense are the same? Thanks

But it's still $2400 after the $300 discount.

The Adorama lens could be a non-US lens (they sell both) - issue is nill - unless you need service as Nikon WILL NOT service a non-us lens

I see the same price for either. The lens is normally $2700 and Black Friday sale is $2400. If you really want to save check out the 70-180mm f/2.8.

That lens costs the same at Nikon USA, I am not sure where YOU are looking.

Nikon is very good at having their distributors use the same price. When Nikon has a sale, the distributors follow. BTW, the Z 70-200mm f/2.8 is a stellar lens. My only issue is the LED screen, which is useless in bright sunlight.

Agree with Superfly. Depending on your intended use, the 70-180 2.8 might be worth checking out. Over $1000 less, weighs over a pound less. Doesn't have VR, is not an "S" lens, but your camera probably has IBIS, and the optics etc. will still be excellent.

I agree. If I were to buy a Z mount 70-200mm I would likely get the 70-180mm f2.8 Nikon/Tamron one and save $1000.

Should be the same lens as there is only one version of the Z 70-200 f2.8

Nikon has been aggressively running short duration sales for the past two or three weeks. You may be seeing a disconnect between when a sale price was set and when you are seeing the advertisement. For instance, the Z 8 is on sale through Monday (I think) for about $3600. If you are seriously considering buying Nikon equipment, I suggest that you go to the NikonUSA website and get on their email list. That's the best way to know what special deals are available and for how long.

My email flyer from Nikon listed the refurbished version at $1995, but that price expired at midnight Saturday and is now back to $2395.
